Let’s Travel to Greece!

A series of stimulus measures have been launched to aid the Greek tourism sector. The government of Greece dropped the VAT rate to 13% (from 24%) to help businesses especially places serving food and beverages. VAT for hotels may also be cut to 6% (from 13%) as part of this stimulus effort. New ticket prices on ferries, airlines, KTEL buses and public transport will also apply as of June 1.
